Chef's Challenge: 52 weeks 104 recipes

Inspired by the movie Julie and Julia, our family (or rather myself who coaxed everyone else) has decided to cook a new Dinner and Dessert every Sunday for the next 52 weeks. I am dusting off an old goal started back when JJ and I were dating that has long since been forgotten through marriage and the births of our wonderful- but time consuming children. Now that they are old enough to be put to work in the kitchen, it is time to get out of our culinary rut and try out new foods and flavors as we bond as a family. Hopefully, throughout this little adventure we will have fun, laugh, add some new recipes to our repertoire, not kill each other in the kitchen and maybe even teach our children how to cook and a little math to boot!

JJ and I will be heading up the dinner menu with help from everyone. Isabel will be chef of dessert--Jordan and Laney her sous chefs.
